Functional requirements
As you know, a function becomes a solution that aspect of the user to interact safely. This leads to the functional requirements for a MOSS implementation issues, including:
* Business Functions.
* User interfaces.
* Programming Interfaces.
* Capacities.
* Interaction.
* Appearance.
* Interoperability.
* Navigation.
* Architecture of content.
Many of these requirements apply to various types of applications and solutions are not exclusive to MOSS. However, there is a special one that applies to SharePoint and that is not typical of traditional web applications: the architecture of content. This requirement implies that the key stakeholder and the design team to determine what types of content could be stored in each of the following levels characteristic of SharePoint:
* Collection of sites.
* Site.
* Page.
* List and document library.
* Folders and subfolders in lists and document libraries.
* Documents.
* List items.
Importantly, it is essential to good design of the content structure as this affects the efficiency of workers, the management of the solution, scalability, security, functionality, and content and search functionality.
